Numat and Meta AI collaborate to make progress in merging AI-driven discovery with deep material characterization and data infrastructure towards building competent and predictive models for next-generation CO2 capture MOFs.
Metal-organic Frameworks (MOFs) are the material foundation of next-generation Direct Air Capture (DAC) solutions and will enable industrial decarbonization roadmaps. Artificial Intelligence (AI) has a key role to play in accelerating MOF material discovery workflows. We’re excited to collaborate with the Fundamental AI Research (FAIR) team Meta AI to make progress in merging AI-driven discovery with deep material characterization and data infrastructure towards building competent and predictive models for next-generation CO2 capture MOFs. This is the future, and we’re pleased to play a role in reducing the practice of this cutting-edge work by validating the efficacy of AI-discovered MOFs in solving the problems that matter.
The mission of the FAIR team at Meta is to advance AI through open research for the benefit of all. AI at Meta engages in cutting-edge applied research that can improve and power new product experiences at scale for the community and create a more connected world.
